Paintings - Purbeck on the Edge

Through colour, texture, line and shape Heather's work reflects her immediate surroundings - the moods of nature with diverse weather situations provide a never ending wealth of inspiration as do the shapes and lines of hills, rocks and quarries.

This wild, romantic area on the edge of the Purbeck coastline has long been the inspiration of artists, poets and writers, with its secret coves and dramatic rock structures, whose craggy profiles stand firm like bastions against the relentless force of the sea.
